The news media seems to be going out of its way to show the worst pictures they can find on TV and in the newspaper.  We here in the Lower Alabama have already suffered due to the poor economy.  And it looks like the news media is going to kill this season with the oil spill coverage.  Yes, you may not be able to swim in the gulf but you can still get a tan by the pool.  Remember there are other things you can do in the area: amusement parks are still open, water parks are still open, golf courses are still open, the inland water systems are still open for fishing and boating and our fine restaurants are still open.  We need your support to keep the region alive so come on down.  You can even help clean up BP’s mess but you do need to take a hazmat course.
